REICHSTEIN FOUNDATION A VALUED SUPPORTER OF GARDS

The Reichstein Foundation was established in 1970 by Lance Reichstein. Lance was born in 1900 in South Australia, studied engineering at Adelaide University, and founded his company, Industrial Engineering in Melbourne’s west in 1928. Lance Reichstein set up the Foundation to give back to the community that helped create his wealth.

Jill Reichstein, Lance’s daughter, is Chair of the Foundation and has reshaped the foundation from a traditional supporter of established charities, to one actively involved in community development and social change philanthropy. The Foundation’s Board of Trustees is made up of community activists and family members.

As a key financial supporter of GARDS, the Reichstein Foundation has acknowledged our work in their latest Annual Report.
